Trader Joe Spree!

Today is Wednesday, the middle the week, and I don’t know if you’re like me but I can’t wait for Friday to come so I can have a day off. Since I’m so busy, tired and want some fresh home cook meals and literally tired of fast food places and the cost is definitely not my health and wallets best friend so I decided to head to my good Ol’ Trader Joes. I wasn’t really prepared on the ingredients I kinda just picked and choose what look there but hey, it’s a start to a healthier future!

I did cook the turkey breast first and put it on the side, Then started to cook the veggies, broccoli, asparagus, and onions. I just covered the veggies to cook a bit (I like it al dente) Then added them together pour some General Tsao. I did pour a little to much here the sauce does go a long way. But it’s healthier than your local restaurant also it didn’t take long at all to cook. And no I didn’t eat it with rice trying to cut down on the carbs.

Here are some other treasures I found in Trader Joe’s.

Hello World!

The time we live in now can be stressful on everyone and these are the times we need to unwind and de-stress not just for your friends and family but your health. Here are simple ways to unwind your body, mind and soul.

First things first!

1. Clean/Clear up your space!

Having a free area that you’re not kicking any kids toys, the shoes you kick off after a long day of work and you just don’t wanna worry about it at the moment, or the socks from days prior or what about that tennis ball that you kick around so your cat go chasing it. Not only having a clean space have your mind clear by not worrying is today the day when I step on that Lego or sprain my ankle. Just remember put things away right away you don’t have to worry about the pile up later.

2. Exercise!

Speaking for myself, when I’m tired I’m tired! Not thinking to exercise after work, I wanna take that nap I deserve. Well best time would be before work before the shower to get ready. Not only it helps detox your body and you drink more water but it helps release stress and helps with depression. Not mention that it helps you get a summer body. That sounds like a win win to me!

3. Unwind, Relax, Moment of Silence.

Doing some meditation and having a little moment just for yourself and I’m not talking about hiding in the bathroom more like taking a bath, laying down with some essential oils such as lavender, chamomile, rose, or have your favorite perfume while listening to calming sounds or music, such as hearing the nature, Zen music or just calm piano music.

I hope this helps unwind and dine and help you be more happy and fully enjoying the moments and making wonderful memories with your family and friends.
